Default Jewel table runner and FMQ practice!

Great way for me to practice my FMQ'ing....small projects are more manageable for me..... And I have found that machingers gloves are an enormous help! I have a long way to go, but I am seeing improvement and that is motivation to trudge on! I used a variegated thread to stitch in the ditch, and a gold silk thread to outline the appliqués.I first saw this runner on Julie cefalu's blog....love the colors for Thanksgiving! It took some time to track down the pattern and fabric-the "applique" block centers are cut from a panel. Pattern is Jewels from Quilts for Olivia, fabric is Red Rooster. Thanks for your continued inspiration!

The gloves are a must for me too. You did a wonderful job on your runner. Love the colors you chose!
