Thank heavens I'm not the only one that does that! I can't figure out why it makes a difference when we start at the end.

I had to start at the bottom too and work my way back to the entrance. So you are not alone I guess. I'm not sure I could make this quilt because just looking at it makes me confused.

I always start at the top. If I get stuck for too long, I may then restart at the bottom. I got it from starting at the top.
