So I got a quilt contract for $400 and had to go to Joann's to get the stuff I'd need. They were having their presidents' day sale, and I got everything half off! I went nuts! I got all the things here plus 8 yards of navy blue flannel for the backing on the two quilts, and some batting. I'm so happy!

This is to make a quilt for my friend's baby. We don't know what she's having yet, so this is going to have to be nuetral. It's flannel so it's soft and cozy!

Fat Quarter mania! I got 15 for $1 each. I was so happy! Now I have a FQ Stash! :-)

I hit the same sale. I'm so glad I had gift cards...I went with gift cards, my id, and a calculator. Took great advantage of the sales.

Congrats!!

I've been playing around with my EQ5 trying to figure out a good pattern other than just blocks (for the jungle baby quilt)...Somehow it keeps telling me for 40'' square quilt I need three yards of fabric of each pattern??? WHAT THE HECK??? I know that's not right so I'm going to go whip it into submission.

I want to go back to Joann's but the sale is over and if I go in there I'll spend my grocery budget and be stuck eating pork n beans and hot dogs for a month! LOL
