Default Jo's quilt is a bright spot on this dreary winter day

Just had to brighten everyone's day with a pic of Jo's twin size quilt that she made for one of her GDs. Jo chose a butterfly edge to edge design and pastel variegated thread. However, I notice in the picture, that the variegated thread did not show the different colors. As with every one of Jo's quilts it is beautifully pieced. I really enjoy the bright colors and loved watching the thread change colors as I was quilting.

It's a beautiful quilt, both the piecing and the quilting. I have a question - was it quilted free hand or was it computer assisted? I don't think I'd ever get that good free hand even will 100 years of practice!!
