    It is a beautiful old fashioned quilt. I think the quilting looks great with it. It will be much stronger too.

    I think you did a fabulous job, it is beautiful and I am sure they will be thrilled with it. I was really not familiar with this pattern and I love it. Thanks for sharing.

    Being finished adds a great deal more value to the quilt than being unfinished "to be hand-stitched". You, the quilter, need to decide how much time you're willing to invest in the project. What a pretty quilt! :-)

    It's beautiful. Don't worry about the machine quilting, it doesn't detract from it one bit.
