she has three show stoppers to share with us this morning. :P

I know the Bargello is queen-sized, but she didn't specify the sizes of the other two. the star quilt will have a red binding after it's quilted. she made the pink one using a combination of snowballs, four-patch blocks, and what looks to me like sashing strips. she doesn't know the name of the block and was wondering if anybody else does.

it would take me a year to complete just one queen-sized quilt, and here she is with three coming together at just about the same time. way to go!!!! :P

They are just breathtaking! I love the second one best I think. That is such a simple design, and it looks so chic! Incredible workmanship too!

Can't wait to see what Joy makes next!

Thank you for your kind comments..... the bargello quilt and snowball one were started early last year... have just finished the "stretched stars" one with the black in it... all of the coloured materials have gold overlay on them... looks nice in the sun. the bargello quilt looks small but it is an optical illusion... quilt was lying on curved concrete... yes, it is queen, also one with black in it is queen and the snowball one is 60 inches square... two of those are for grandchildren, four other grandchildren already have theirs... spoilt, aren't they!!!
