    Default My Featherweight Project

Finally chose to use my little Featherweight sewing machine for making a quilt. Sewed up a DNP and made scalloped edging and continuous bias binding. (All "firsts" for me). Learning to make the binding gave me some fits, but I sure felt great when I got it done. This will probably be a donation quilt for our church. Thanks for looking!

(Oh, I did use my 301A for the fmq).

Lovely, the scallop really makes the quilt more special. Congrats on acquiring another skill/technique.

I love the quilt, but I especially love those scallops!

Lovely quilt and how lucky you are to own a featherweight sewing machine!

I like getting out my featherweight, oiling her up, and doing a small project.

Yes, Sandra, I've been enjoying the smaller projects lately too. There are so many quilt patterns I'm wanting to try and can get to more of them if I stick with smaller quilts. Our church always needs baby quilts, so that's what some of mine are geared toward.
