I love your concept, but I personally think you need a little more contrast between layers. Give it a little more POP.

What don't you like about it? Do you want more ruffle - cleaner edge or something? What makes you not love it?

    IMHO it's very cute.

OK I just queried "French Rose Quilt". Honey you got it... You are right on the money. Exactly like the ones I saw. Good Job!

Your "blobs" are beautiful flowers and I like your block very much. Good job on the FMQ also.

I love the rose pattern, you did a great job on it. It would look great in a whole quilt.

I like it! And I love your free motion quilting. I'd give anything to be able to do that.

Love it---- that is exactly how I want to do a french rose. Thought I'd FMQ the whole top then add roses last what do you think?

Love it - do you know where we can get the pattern? And how could I have possibly missed the whole quilt when it was posted unless it was over 4 months ago before I joined QB. Can anyone point me to the photo of the whole quilt? I'm going to use this in a bigger quilt

It is beautiful. I can't imagine the pattern being any better. Great Job. Can't wait to see the finished bed runner.

Just a couple of thoughts. Make the flower take up more of the space in the block. (cut down the white square, or enlarge the flower). Add two more leaves on the upper right side for balance. Perhaps even make the leaves a bit bigger. Your FMQ looks nice. The fabrics you chose for flowers are nice and your original adaptation on the pattern is great.
