Hi, my name is Rina and this is my first entry on QB. The reason is to brag of course!! I made a Ricky Timms quilt for my second grandchild. His little brother already have one. Allso a Ricky Tims. They love the farm and animals - so see for yourself!! Cant wait to see his face.

Rina, they are both just lovely! You certainly should be bragging. I just bought the Ricky Timms book, but won't do anything until after the first of the year. You really did beautiful work.

    Welcome to the board.

The quilts are great. Is that the Convergence(sp) pattern?

    Have not done one yet.

Rina, your quilts are great! I'm not familiar with Ricky Timms' patterns, although I know who he is, of course. I'll have to check out his book. Your second grandson will be so thrilled to get his own quilt. I like the colors in both, but I especially like the colors in the second one. You did a beautiful job on them.

    Welcome to the board! :-D

Rina, these are quite different from the normal pieced quilts. I know you are so thrilled to have quilts that you know will make those little ones so happy. I really like your choice of colors & the farm fabric. You do great work.

Thanks everybody.I will see my grandchildren this comming weekend. They are from Australia and I am from South Africa. So bad to be so far from each other. But this Christmas month will be special for us. I guess no quilting for the rest of the month, just playing and visiting.
