I too have a problem getting rid of scraps, and you made a beautiful quilt from all your scraps. Sometimes though I just have to be tough and get rid of them as I don't have much space.

I love your fabrics and what you've created with them. I am downsizing too but find it so hard to "throw" anything away. If only I spent more time sewing rather than looking at other people's lovely creations (like yours!) on this board!

My aunt gave me a box of her scraps. I washed and ironed very little piece. Think I can make three tops. Thanks to my aunt.

So how narrow are your smallest strips and how small are the smallest pieces that younuse in this 'yardage'? Your quilts are marvelous. I've made string quilts, but not crumb quilts- yet.

I keep the really tiny ones for my daughter who wants to make paper. 100% cotton makes great paper! I mix in a little batting and some dog hair too. and then I cut and cut and cut.

I absolutely love to make fabric out of scraps, then I will find something to use it for later. This is a great quilt. I can't throw away scraps either, just can't, after all we spent loads of money on those scraps, would much rather use them up. Great job.

Great job on using those scraps! They make fun quilts! I use small pieces to make 3" finished crumb blocks, and leftovers go into making dog beds~

I have the same problem. Looks like you found a great way to solve at least part of your problem! Very pretty!
