Great use of scraps. I also have so many to use up, and your quilts gave me some more ideas. Love all of them

I just love scraps, and should anyone give me a bag of scraps oh what a happy day. I have a collection of many of your scrape quilts I have saved on my tablet,
Love looking through them all

Great job with those scraps. The white just makes the colors 'pop'... Guessing you make up big squares, then cut them up?

Spent hours last weekend sorting scraps and ended up dumping everything back into the container...lol. Had no idea what to do do. Now I know! Just sew and trim...right. Great idea. Thanks for freeing my brain. Now I'll be able to sew aimlessly at night. TU TU TU!!!

Julie in NM, you are right! Sewing aimlessly is part of the appeal of this type of scrap piecing. Sometimes I cut a foundation square and sew right on that and then don't use batting. Great light weight quilt. Sometimes I cut shapes out of the yardage I make. I also make long strips out of piecies that are about 4 to 6" in length and use them like Chinese coins. They make really cute baby quilts with appliques on the solid strips. I just love scrap quilts. Hope everyone makes at least a small happy, colorful, stress free scrap quilt after reading this thread.

Nice use of scraps!! I have tons of them that I can't bring myself to throw away. You have inspired me to use them up!
