    How lucky you are to have such treasures your GD is absolutely right. I am the first quilter in my family so I am trying to start a tradition I sure hope it works.

    I love these old quilts. Thanks for sharing them with us. I'm glad that your grandmother has you for a granddaughter.... someone to appreicate her hard work. I wonder where my quilts and UFO's will end up when I'm gone. I should make a will, just for the contents of my sewing room. I don't want it to be a burden to my family. Hopefully I will be around for a long time. LOL

    Hi Live2teach. I would also say that you really are very lucky that you have the embroidery quilts and other stuffs made by your grandmother. Such things are really valuable as well as nostalgic. Well, I liked all of them especially the one with the owls. You also mentioned that you will keep on posting more images of the embroidery work done by your grandmother. We all are waiting for more pics of the beautiful quilts.
