Love anything Hawaiian. A few months ago I played with a simple motif & went on to the second one only biger. Need to say Thank You to all of you for that is where I have gotten my inspiration to get with it. Have been sewing all my life & now am incorparating quilting. The attached photos are hand appliqued & hand quilted.

I lived in Hawai'i for nearly 3 years in the mid-80s and was in awe of how the local ladies would gather and do the massive applique quilts! OMG I had never seen anything like it before, it was a great time had by all.

Love yours, not matter how large or small, Hawaiian designs are awesome!

I love it! I love two-color quilts-I can see yours repeated to make a bed-sized quilt. Well done! I also love the contrasting hand-quilting with white on the blue-very nice!

It's excellent! My attempts at Hawaiian-style quilting are not photo worthy. But I love them, will keep at it...

I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and just loved there quilts, was not quilting at the time or I would have made one for sure. Could never afford the "real" ones and settled for a cheap comforter "look alike". Alas, between my kids and dogs it did not last very long, should never have gone with white. LOL
