    Beautiful and have you tried just 3 or 4 inch squares of scrappy material in the colors of a friends home. I did this very thing, matching the backing with one of the squares and binding to match. It turned out great.

    Very cheery. She should love them. I love my placemats, and I have a wonderful friend who always makes them for me for my birthday and/or Christmas.

    Pretty, pretty. I can't imagine not liking these. The problem will be in getting her to use them. I pity the first person to spill something on one. Great gift!
