I love your colors! It looks like morning sunrise fading into evening as the rings go from the yellow to the purple. I never would have thought of doing this pattern in these colors. What an inspiration!

It's a lot of sewing to it, once I started it and figured out the best ways to do things for me, I didn't feel like it was too hard. I chain sewed the little pieces and did six arcs at a time, and just kept on trucking. It takes more time then anything. They seem to always tell people to iron everything, I didn't iron anything except I finger pressed the first 2 pieces when I did my chain sewing, otherwise I didn't iron anything, they just lay down. I used the templates, bought them on Amazon.com, it comes with a booklet showing different ways to put it together this is the one I used - http://www.amazon.com/Omnigrid-Rotar...7432091&sr=8-1
I quilted it on my machine quilting frame, with the Bailey's Home Quilter

It's amazing to see how a traditional pattern can come out looking fresh and modern with the innovation of using the darker color in the area that's usually a light neutral. It's a real stand-out!
