    Isn't it interesting how your basic block (looks like 9 smaller blocks put together) makes so interesting a design when put together with many. I first saw it as flower blocks mixed with X blocks, then looked carefully at what your basic block was. Many times I'm surprised at how a quilt looks with a block repeated, and the different designs that show up that were unexpected.
