This is my second attempt at free hand quilting. This quilt is a charity quilt for my guild. It came as a kit but I did not like some of the fabrics that came with it so I replaced about 25% of it with fabrics from my stash. I did some creative piecing on the back cause they did not give me enough fabrics for the back.

We also (DH, DSGF and I) sandwiched and spray basted 4 quilts tonight. I now have about 12 that are waiting to be quilted!  Also Have a baby quilt that all it needs is a label. Wish there were more hours to quilt!!!

I just love your new quilt. It is absolutely darling. The colors are great & the design you made for the backing, is even better. Thank you for sharing with all of us. :D :D :D :D :D

That is lovely...both front and back. I've never bought a kit but it seems that I hear folks complain a lot about not getting enough fabric for something with them.

Love it! So colorful! The pieced back is beautiful. Two quilts in one!
