well thank you ladies so much, i've gotten a lot of compliments on this one from my friends too. tomorrow i'll go buy the fabric for the backing and some more warm & natural batting for it. can't wait to get it completely finished, i'll post another pic when i do. thanks again

i bought the backing today, gonna try the 505 basting spray for my first time - probably tomorrow. and yes the name of the pattern is called venetian stained glass window.
