Default Just Some Feathers

Here are some feathers I quilted for the back of a throw pillow. Feathers are my "go-to" design when I can't think of anything else to do, and were my original goal when I started learning to FMQ. I quilt on a DSM, a Juki TL98Q. I love doing feathers and find them kind of zen-like to stitch free-form. ;-)

And here's a pic of the front of the finished pillow (I had posted this in-progress a few days ago too.)

Enjoy.

Very pretty pillow! Wish I could quilt feathers like that.

Your feathers are perfect! How do you do that? I can get one side to look god but I can't get the other side. Guess I will have to practice more. Beautiful job!

WOW that is super. On a DSM no less. I am glad when I sew a straight line. I bow down to you. BrendaK

Mary~I had that same problem when I was starting out. It just takes practice. If you have one side looking the way you want, you are already half way there!
