[QUOTE=FabStripper;6913133]Do you have to be precise where you cut this? This is so pretty. I like the after a little bit more than the before but that before is gorgeous too. Is this hard to make?[/QUOTE

Thank you. The pattern is from the book
Magic Stack-N-Whack Quilts by Bethany S Reynolds
It is well written and I found the pattern instructions clear to follow. Made two quilts because I admire the diverse result. The 2nd quilt was made w a diff fabric.

I agree that the "after" is a lot more interesting. Actually it's beautiful. I've used magic Stack-n-Whack Quilts also. It was easy to follow.

I've done several Stack and Whack quilts, but never one as intricate as this. Fascinating!!

Named this quilt Rodeo Stars. The intent was to participate in the Houston Rodeo quilt exhibit many moons ago but life got in the way.

Love Kaleidoscope patterns -- great color use -- the blue really 'pops'!

What a fabulous S&W quilt. I think I prefer this technique over the OBW, this produces much more diverse effects. I never would think to use that horse batik as a S&W but you had the vision and the results are fantastic!
