My thoughts exactly! I love the original fabric & would have never imagined it could turn out so sophisticated,,, I guess I don't have much of an imagination... LOL! I LOVE kaleidoscopes... making them & looking at others' versins of them. You have another one planned? I hope so!

For some reason this reminds me of fancy ceramic tiles, nice work!

I have the exact same fabric and was thinking of doing the same thing with it (after I get a few other things done that I have been putting off). It's nice to see what my idea will look like. You have done a great job with it. Love it.

I bought five yards but had to go back for more so I guess I bought six and half yards. I think it also depends on the repeating pattern as to how much you need. I cut mind with a kaleidoscope ruler for a 12 inch block. The ruler guides you as to how to cut wedges and triangles.

I really, really like this quilt. I always am not sure how much fabric to buy when doing a Kaleidoscope. Can you PM me the type of ruler you used and any advice on fabric yardage. Thank you Grace

Wow! Turned cutesy into wonderful whimsical 'tile' blocks. It is terrific. Excited to see it finished and with some close ups of the blocks! I gotta make one of these!
peace
