    Default Kasen's Quilt

I just finished this yesterday. My GD sent me a email asking if I could make a quilt for the new baby. It made my day. She didn't know I had gotten the material the day before to make one. I'm leaving Thursday for FL to attend my GD's baby shower. This is her second child and another boy. I'm not happy with the backing. I had to change what I intended due to a stupid mistake on my part. For some reason I decided to put a border on the back too. That didn't work out like I planned and when I got it to the LAer I had to change it. The only thing she had available that would work was what I used. I had planned on using a light grey pin dot like the binding. I think it would have looked much better. The one I used works it's just not what I wanted. BTW the dark spot on the label is Fray Check. It just wasn't dry when I took the picture. The lettering doesn't show up as well as I hoped but I was running out of time to get it finished before leaving.

Oh goodness, that’s delightful fabric! Sorry about the woopsies. Been there done that exact same mistake! But the world is still spinning on its axis. LOL

That's cute as a button! And I think the backing is gorgeous and goes well with the front. What's not to love?

That's precious! And the sentiment touched my heart. I have 3 boys and it's all true
