That is gorgous.
If I could do that it would take me till she was old enough for it.

This is one of the cutest quilts I have seen in a long time! You did a lovely job! Is it piecing and embroidery or is there some applique on there too? It is so cute!
Thanks Loretta, No applique or embroidery was used. The material with the characters was fussy cut to put all the cute little characters in the quilt. I used my scraps to bring in all the colors for the borders. The red material & the material with characters on the front & back of the quilt are from IKEA. They sell limited children's textile material in bundles of about 2 yards approx. (can't remember for sure but that's about right).

Great colors and such a different style! I especially like the diamond squares - your own design?

I had to laugh when you said she was only 1 month old. I have a feeling she will be very spoiled, lol.

Thanks! I decided to set the squares on point so that it would show the critters a little better without cutting them off. I chose a border that would incorporate all the colors that are used in the material with the critters. I chose a Pinwheel star block that I really liked to bring in more of the colors into the quilt. I guess when it comes to my granddaughter I wanted it to be very special. We are supposed to spoil them, right? Isn't that our job? LOL
