Karla, I like your version much better than the muted colors of the original. It is lovely the way you have so deftly transitioned from the lighter to the darker colors. I'm sure when put together the pattern will shine out to your satisfaction. I would be proud to produce such a lovely quilt as yours.

Now I found it Karla :oops: Missed this post, you had me thinkin' you were kayaking, quilting and horsing around all summer. Couldn't figure out how you do everything you do. Still can't :lol: Yes, the movement is there, me thinks that it is going to show even more when it is quilted. Beautiful color and your points are wonderful.

bluebird--that's exactly what did all summer: kayaked, quilted, and messed around with horses. :D But--today was the first day with students... so I messed with horses yesterday, I quilted a bit tonight and I'm going to throw the kayak in the van and hit the lake before I come home to horses tomorrow. :lol:
