    I'm drawn to your great grandmother's quilt that was made in the mid 1800s. Not only do I love the quilt, but I respect the history that quilt has seen. What a family treasure!

    Love all the quilts especially the 1950 one and the tie one. The tie one reminds me of my late mother, who would take unused ole ties and create many things: one was a tie skirt. But anyways, love your display chest of loved quilts.

    I think it's wonderful that you've been selected to keep the quilts. When my mother-in-law died the quilts she owned got split up among the children. I think it's better to keep them all together.
