Default Kiddy Monster Quilt done!

This was such a bright and fun project to do! I needed something fun to help me get back into my quilting after losing my DH to cancer last month and this was just what the Doctor ordered for me.. It took me a bit to get going, but bit by bit over the last couple of weeks I started to enjoy the process again.

This is for my Great Nephew who will be two years old on the 27th February! I hope he likes it

Thank you for all the words of support and encouragement everyone! x

Thanks MaryMo, I bought the monster panel from ebay and all other fabrics were from my stash! I used two layers of Hobbs Premium batting to give a heavier quilt for the cold weather here in the UK

Love the quilt, the colors are so bright and cheerful. I am glad you are back to quilting after your loss.

Sorry to hear about your DH! That is a tough trip. Love the quilt. It had to bring a smile to your face as you were working on it.
