    Default Kimono Garden

The pattern for this mini came from the 2015 Aurifil DOM (designer of the month) series. The designer is John Kubiniec, and the size is 20.5” X 20.5”. The pattern name is Secret Garden but I renamed it since I used kimono blocks for my centers instead of the large flower print he used. It was machined pieced and I hand quilted it with King Tut Harvest Gold thread.

Just beautiful. These look like real silk kimonos.

Very pretty - and the quilting - ohmigosh! You must have some serious practice at hand quilting - just beautiful stitching!
