The bear paw is amazing with the different sizes. I've seen one similar to that with maple leaves in different sizes, but yours is beautious! Thanx for sharing. Sara

I love your work. I don't know how you made the first one, the bear paw is pretty, but I LOVE the log cabin.

Great job!

They're all really beautiful mgshaw. I'm drawn to that bear paw. I just finished one for my SIL but it was all made out of home-spuns and very "manly" compared to your sweet one made from such lovely fabrics. What a pretty way to interpret that pattern!!! And that log cabin...WOW! You've got some real talent. :)

that bear paw has been very ongoing work in progress. It started out just the 2 sizes of blocks(the original pattern), but i needed it bigger, so added the flying geese border. I was almost done with that when DH decided we needed new matress and box springs, soooooo with the new 18 inch deep matress guess what? it still wasnt big enough. so now I am in the process of doing an appliqued border. If it dont fit when I am done with that too darn bad!!!!!

Where did you get the pattern for the Star Log Cabin, it is my favorite.

G-Maw,
It came from a book called "Winter Warmers" by Leisure Arts (1999)
