I love it, well done! instead of blues I think I would like purple, but that's my colour! Mind you any colour goes well with black and white! lol

I used to hate basting too, until I discovered basting spray. Now it's just a 5-minute process that absolutely prevents tucks on the back when quilting. Your combination of blues is beautiful!

Wow! I think it's gorgeous...quite dynamic. It inspires me to try this pattern. On the main forum yesterday, I saw a discussion of using Elmer's glue for basting. It sounded interesting, you might give it a look and see if it's something you'd like to try. I've never done it myself but I'm thinking about it for my next small project.
