    Default kitty adventures

well, this is my second big quilt and no doubt way too ambitious for my skill level. Nevertheless, I'm pleased with how it turned out and learned a lot in the making of it. No fancy stitching, just straightforward quilting. Thanks for everyone's help and encouragement. I can't tell you how helpful you all are!

It's in browns and turquoises made for my niece's wedding. They have a couple of cats (one tuxedo and one orange tabby) so I made a block of each to represent their fur babies and situated them in the middle of the quilt. The bottom pic is a close up of the the tuxedo and orange tabby blocks.

I love when a quilt has meaning for a recipient.

I love it. I agree that it is best if the quilt is "right" for the recipient. One of my early quilts was a similar catly one for a cousin who had just lost her furbaby. Keep on pushing your limits!!

Putting the little yellow cat in a couple of times just made it wonderful. Great work.
