Love your Kitty quilt! I really like the fabric that looks like fur that you used for sashing. Your sister is going to be thrilled with that for Christmas. (Tried to add a smile but I am having trouble with navigating the new QB.)

I thought it look like fun fur fabric too, plus the colours were all complimenting the larger kitty in the basket block and it just evolved from there! Thanks for your lovely reply!
You have to go onto advanced to get the smilies but if you hit : followed by a capital D it converts to a great big smile like this:
