I love all the kitty quilts. I had a strip of border that was cut off,the fabric that had cats on it. didn't know why I saved it,but I got it out yesterday after seeing all the kitty quilts. I took my little template that Rohnda sent me.Put it on the heads of the kttys on the fabric then cut the lighter blue around them and made other blocks sewed them all together it turned out really cute. But now I have had a brain storm,Haaa,,,here goes another UFO,,,,What if I make the next row,out of blocks a size bigger than these, then the next row a little bigger, and on out until I have a full size quilt..Any way thats the plan..

I found my patterns in the kids coloring pages. I spent several days and a lot of time till I found the ones I liked. I printed them out then used a marker to outline them eliminating a lot of the fine lines. I cut this out than traced it on paper to see if it still looked ok. I chose 4 .
I used a warm wishes setting for it :D

I did stand on a foot stool and held the camera up high...That was Masons room and it isn't that big"you couldn't swing a cat by the tail' pun intended

That is a good idea, My mother use to use coloring books. she did a lot of embrodary, she would trace of the picture, then use a pencil that would iron on,trace it again with this pencil then iron it on her dish towls.

I love your kitty quilt - it's great you used all different colors on your kitties, it makes them really interesting! Love it! Your GD will love it!
