    Default Koi Pond Quilt

"Back to the Pond" is finally finished!!!

The water was machine pieced hexagons since the fabric had a striped pattern in, the fish, lilies and flowers were hand appliqued, then it was machine quilted and last but not least the dragonflies were hand quilted/embroidered in the quilt.

It was made for my ex brother-in-law, while fun to work on ... I am ready to work on something else.

It has been entered in the county (July 8-13) and the state fair (Aug 2-13). Can't wait to see how those turn out.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look. I appreciate it.

Thanks. There are 3 on the quilt overall. Here is a closeup of my favorite one. It is the one over the ripple in the water.

Beautiful ~ I love everything about it! I'm sure it will be loved! Good luck at the two fairs! It should be a winner!
