    The ducks are so cute! But the second one is awesome! Love the colors. Are the mums appliqued or is it a panel type fabric?

    Oh yes! Paper-pieced. The ducks are sort-of trapuntoed. The wings are puffed using texture-magic.

    Beautiful! It's so hard to capture everything in the photos - the texturized duckie wings are a great idea - and I love the little light piece in the bubbles and how they move around.

    The kyoto mum is absolutely gorgeous! And your quilting in both is gorgeous :)
