Would Love to see more pictures of your quilt labels . . . right now I'm particularly interested in labels on baby quilts. I don't always (usually) label mine (no flames, please .. . I haven't made than many quilts). Here's a picture of one of mine that I'm sure I've shown here before.

I really don't make labels. I just "sign" the back of the quilts with my name.

My labels are always very simple. I use muslin and usually trace whatever I want onto the label using pigma pens. My handwriting is awful so I will go to my computer, pick a font I like and type out whatever I want my label to say. I can do the same thing with graphics, if I want to include them. I print it out on computer paper, iron my muslin to freezer paper, and use a light box to trace.

This is the label for a flip-flop quilt, so I just used the same shape and wrote the info on it.

For this fall quilt, I traced the pumpkins and writing with a brown pigma pen

This is Melissa's high school graduation quilt. I traced a label from a book and added the info that I wanted included. I also added my daughter's favorite quote to the label.

I haven't labeled any of my quilts. I know that is wrong. I will start with the baby quilts I am making.
