It's a fantastic quilt! A friend of mine made it, too, and entered it into the show at Quilt Expo in Madison. It's one of those designs that makes one just stop in her tracks, it's so stunning. Wonderful work.

Thanks for all the positive comments on my quilt. I didn't get a ribbon because our quilt show doesn't give ribbons. If you are wanting to try this don't be afraid to. It took me 2 or 3 days to complete the sewing on this. You need to cut all the fabric and label it the strips and just go step by step. I would like to do it again only 1/2 size.

You mention doing it half size. How would you go about doing that? I would love to make one, but don't want it bed size. I'd prefer to hang it where it can be truly appreciated.
Would you make less blocks, or make everything smaller?
