Default Lady Bug Table Topper

Received these pretty fat quarters from Aprilisslowlylearningtoquilt on the Fat Quarter Swap last month. Also received the magazine Quilt-it, March/April 2013 from buttons grow from the Secret Pal Swap which had this darling topper that I had to make. Have Easter fabric on the back so it can reversible. First time doing Grandmother Flower Garden so some of my stitches show but enjoyed doing the hand sewing. Can't see me making a large quilt with a zillion small pieces. lol

That is really cute, love ladybugs! Is the ladybug machine or hand appliquéd onto the hexagon topper?

The pattern called for hand appliqué but I am lazy and did machine with invisible thread. Thanks for the compliments was fun to make. Every now and then a person needs an easy project in between and this was it, or at least I do.
