I received an email from a guild member--they are announcing the top 10 Viewer's Choice quilt winners at the next meeting which is May 5th. I sent her the link to this post.

Elly--who's your hubby? Did he graduate from this school??

The lady who is posting photos of the top Viewer's Choice had ankle surgery, so can't post the photos yet, but she did send me this list today. Mine came in #3 and #11! :-D

I recognize some of the names here--but will add the link to the website page with the photos once it's up. I don't want to make an error. I left my name on mine, but erased all the other names since I don't know how they'd feel about them being up.

The top 20 Viewer's Choice quilts from the Lake to Lake Quilt Guild's Spring Into Color Quilt Show are:

1. LA5 Tree of Life

2. L1 Dreaming

3. Karla Santoro
L26 Garden Found! Floral Log Cabin

4.L53 Cabin in the Woods (many here loved this one!)

5. L47 Thyme to Water (I LOVED this one!)

6. L23 4-Patch Posie

7. L22 Andy's Quilt

8. L46 Tulip Time

9. LA1 Winter's Song

10. LA15 Pretty Dresses

11. Karla Santoro
L25 Scrappy Fall Log Cabin

12. LA8 Lights Along the Shore

13. L28 Oriental Twist

14. A7 Aftermath

15. L43 Red Onion

16. L50 Log Cabin Home Sampler

17. L39 Tradewinds

18. LA4 Memory Quilt

19. S11 Narrow Street in Venice

20. L51 Rhapsody in Teal

Way to go Karla!!! You rock!! I'll bet the Tree of Life was the one snow-covered spruce with the birds, but I can't guess which one Dreaming was. But you already know my favorite. Sure you don't want to keep it after all? I'll completely understand.

Oh! gaigai--I am so happy it's going to a good home! :-D It's way more fun for me to anticiapte making another than it is to keep this one!! I don't get attached to my quilts lately--if I can't use it--it's offered to the kids or it's for sale. The joy for me comes in planning and creating--not in finishing, and especially not in storing.

Here are some I'm sure of....
Tree of Life is a-m-a-z-i-n-g.
