    Default Mum's the Word!

I just finished this up last night and put it through the wash today. It is my first quilt that I quilted on my Sweet Sixteen. It is made from scraps passed onto me from my sister, with the solid fabrics added in. I made it essentially for a FMQ exercise/project so I'd have a bunch of little areas to try out different quilting motifs and really wasn't expecting it to turn out so well. Now that I have one quilt FMQ'd finally, I am encouraged to keep going. It was so much fun!

Very nicely done. I really like what you did to the edges of the border. Have fun with your new Sweet Sixteen! You are off to a good start.

You did a great job for your first try on your new Sweet 16. I love the colours, thank you for sharing.

Thanks! The idea came from Lori at http://theinboxjaunt.com blog. She has lots of great FMQ tutorials!
