Pam,
Love the quilt and the fabrics your daughter picked out. I bought a layer cake with all those fabrics and wish I had bought at least fat qtrs. The back is the icing on the cake. Nice job in spite of the creative changes.

When she picked out the jelly roll, I was thinking it was too bright. Little did I know, since I do like the end result. I think the leftovers will make a great baby quilt. Now if only I knew a baby girl that was soon to arrive! One thing about babies is that they just keep coming <grin>.

I really wanted to quilt loops and hearts on it, to coordinate with the many hearts in the fabrics, but my daughter said she only wanted a "squiggle" (her words). I at least made it a little bit better with a variegated Aurifil thread in turquoise, blue, and white.

Very pretty. I sat down to watch TV briefly the other day and awoke over three hours later. I NEVER do this so I guess sometimes are bodies, and likely our minds, are just worn out. The end project looks great though to me.

What a beautiful quilt you have made for your daughter- she will cherish it. Love your quilt back, much more interesting and creative than one piece of backing fabric- see those Quilt Angels keep working when we're tired and keep sewing on auto pilot!
