    A friend of my sister is very good to her in little ways and I thought it would be a neat thing to make him a little reward from her family.

    With him in mind, I bought the embroidered plain blocks from a gal at ebay and the touile from a board member. I thought it would be perfect since he is a retired rodeo rider, logger and lives in the small community in upper california (yuba city).

    A fairly simple one but nice I think. Now to iron the backing, layer it and quilt! It is 48 by 54.

    That is a perfect quilt for a cowboy! He will really enjoy it. Now...where can I find some of that toile? I have a cowboy of my own.

    I just saw some on ebay today. I just did a search for beige fabric and it came up.

    I bought this from fred singer in the buy/sell section. I hope you find some. It is fun to work with.
