I have had a couple of ladies ask me to put up a bigger picture of my avatar. Here it is. This quilt has a brief story - the name of the block is 'Snails Trail' and this particular quilt was paper pieced. The quilt was made in 2007 by our local quilting group to be raffled for breast cancer research. I, along with about 10 other ladies made a number of blocks in blues/yellows to put into the quilt and I assisted in the working bee to put the quilt together. I bought a raffle book of 20 tickets and put most tickets in other family members names, except 3 tickets which I put in my name. The quilt was handed over to the Breast Cancer Tasmania organisation, the raffle was drawn and one of my tickets was the lucky winner ! I loved the quilt and although I will probably donate it back again to a charity to be re-raffled, for now it is part of my large collection of quilts.

Thank you for asking about the quilt.
