Thank you for your kind comments, they are only lap size quilts,the star one being for quite a large lap, the other will have a couple of borders to make it the same size, both are for birthday gifts. One friend has a narrowboat at the same marina we are in, the boat is dark blue with gold trim so she has everything to match that colour scheme on board so that gave me the colours for the quilt, her birthday is in June so will have time to finish it, then the next birthday is July.

Both are very pretty, I really like the second one. So colorful, and yet your stars are very pretty. You do good work.

My you are the speedy one.....I just split all my blocks now have to sew them back together......I like them both.....good work :D

Very pretty! I liked the disappearing nine patch pattern too. Yours is lovely.

You do nice work and so speedy too. The colors in the 1st quilt are so bright and cheery.

I really like the scrappy look of your disappearing 9-patch. I'm working on one right now right now and it is fun and easy.
