    Latest completed UFO - Yippee!!

This is a Block of the Month that was started in June 2010 and completed June 2011. But unfortunately I had 20 setting blocks to make after the 12 samplers were completed. So needless to say I put it off. The 12 samplers are 12" blocks completed and the finishing setting is from the book Country Gatherings by Open Gate. The quilt measures 83" by 100" and is all done in batiks in shades of green and brown. Thanks for looking!

Gorgeous. I certainly understand putting off doing the setting blocks after getting through the challenge of the samplers. I would probably suffer the same lapse. ;-)

This quilt is so beautiful. I just love the setting blocks. They really compliment the pieced blocks so well. It has an old fashioned feel even though it's full of very modern fabrics. What wonderful choices you've made. Thanks for sharing!
