    Latest Finish

I used a high-loft polyester batting. It was a bear to quilt on my small home machine.

    Thanks for looking.

I try to only buy high loft polyester batting. I never have trouble quilting on my 9" harp machine. I can't always get the high loft but, it is what I like.
By the way your quilt is beautiful, colors quilting and all.

Not sure if I'll use the high loft batting again.
I did straight line quilting just inside the blocks.
I found that the quilting foot had trouble moving over the seam intersections.
I tried lowering the tension but that made the back stitches too loose.

Beautiful quilt. I recently finished a high loft lap quilt, rail fence, and it was a bear on my DSM. I had to walk away from it several times.

Great use of scraps. I like the way you used the same fabric for the outer triangles.
