Or the stripe then a dark maybe black/black tone on tone. Great D9P...Love it!!

Hi Millie! It's a Disappearing 9 Patch...big 9 patch cut horizontally and vertically and then flipped around to form different patterns. It's very versatile and fun pattern....also very fast to put together.

Oh, oh! Wherever did you get the checked fabric with the gradated tone levels? That is just about the most delicious stuff I've ever seen?

The colors are great for a guy and a dark border would really set it off. He'll treasure it.

Perfect choices for a "man" quilt. I agree that a dark border before the stripe will really make it pop.
