Finally finished dnp, tied it. It's scrappy so I broke the business up with an inset.
We have 5 teen & older grandchildren, then the two 40 yr olds decided to have a family, so we have two little guys, 5 months apart. They both live out of state, one in Alaska, so we don't see them as often as we would like. When they were 3, I made a little boys quilt for when they took their naps, etc. It's just a square in a square, and I handquilted designs in each square. Sailboats, bugs, you know. That summer they were here at the same time, so I had them sign the quilt. They wrote their name, (Mom's help). Kieran traced his hand and Ian drew a chocolate chip cookie. I love this quilt.

So many wonderful memories stiched up in that quilt. It sure has some great fun kid fabric.
Thanks for telling us this wonderful family tale.
    Nice work.
