Thanks! All the prints were really busy, so I added the red to balance it a bit. I'm not a big fan of red/wht/blue quilts generally, either, but it grew on me. He likes it and now he's finishing his last year of college, I'm very proud of him. I'm sure you're glad to have your nephew back laceybritt! And also your son, Moonwork! My son says it's harder for us than for them.

I myself LOVE RWB quilts & this QOV is beautiful! I love the fabrics in it... busy but appropriatly so. This is awesome! I, too, make QOVs & find it to be soooooo satisfying, don't you?

Please thank your DS for his service for me. My DD is engaged to a Marine so this is all starting to hit home for me.

I think it is a great quilt and a wonderful tribute to your son for his service. I join with the others in wishing the best for him in the future.

Beautiful, all the colors look so crisp. Can't go wrong with the Red, White and Blue. Thank your Son for his service to our wonderful country. I have a Grandson 24 who served 2 different times in Iraq. He is State Side now serving in the Old Guard.
