    Latest Tote/Diaper Bag

This is the latest of many totes, it seems that once I embroidered a name and started this as a diaper bag for my granddaughter, everyone wants one!! But these are involved and is very costly to produce.
I love doing the totes and am always looking for new patterns and ideas! Name: 312536_2361325685427_1618871133_2287097_708811719_n.jpg

Nice fabric choices and embroidery. I've been toying with embroidering on my bags, but just haven't made it that far. Very pretty!

Your tote is lovely. Can you please tell me how you got your live signature to work? Mine and many others just show the link wording.

That is a very nice bag. I have made it two times and you are right it is costly to make. The second time I made it I reduced the size and made it smaller because the larger one was pretty big. More like an overnight bag or like you said a diaper bag size. Later the pattern designer came out with a smaller version.

I understand where you are coming from! I have made many many purses and totes. People just don't understand the money and work involved in the making of them. The lovely gromments alone will set you back a pretty penny on this bag.

All that being said, I love your bag! The addition of thier name is a neat touch.

It looks beautiful, and very labor intensive. Love the idea of the embroidery.

My youngest daughter would love this for a diaper bag. Perfect fabric choices. What pattern is this?

The pattern for this bag is "My Favorite Bag" By Kati Cupcake; it is also int he book "Baby, It's You" by Leisure Arts..
The book is a better deal as it has more patterns as well and I got mine at Hobby Lobby for 40% off of $16.95 after I had already bought the pattern for $9.95..
You are right about the grommets, so I try to get those on sale as well and always use my 40% off coupon at Joanns..
Selena as far as the signaure it took me a bit to get mine to work, but you have to make a change in your settings:

First you have to go to settings at top of page, then to general settings on left, and at botttom be sure it is checked for "Standard Editor" and save changes... then go back to settings at top of page and then to Edit signature and the tool bar should be there, after you do your changes, hit preview signature and you can see it at top-- the codes will be in the text box but your signature will show up at the top of yourtext entry box in the preview box..
Hope this helps, let me know if you need more help...

Your tote is very pretty, and I can see it took a lot of workmanship. They are expensive to make, and people who don't sew don't always realize this.
