This is a very nice mixture of modern and traditional. Nicely executed.

Oh, I do love it. I'm so glad you remembered to use my favorite colors. Now when can I expect the arrival of this beautiful art work? Oops! I hope you haven't forgotten my address, or do I need to give it to you again? lol.
What a beautiful quilt. I think you did outstanding work on this.
Last week I posted a thread asking for pattern suggestions for two photo memory quilts I want to do for my children for Christmas. Well I have just found one pattern that suits my fancy. I have the fab. but just needed to find the right pattern that really caught my eye, and you just showed it. Thanks so much. I am ordering the pattern tomorrow.
Again, such a beautiful quilt. I know she will always cherish this one. Thanks for sharing with us.

Love your quilt! Very creative :) LOVE THE BACK :)
And thanks for the pattern information, this has jumped up to the top of my endless list of quilt patterns that I want to start (I think I may even have that same fabric in a pink version) ... OH HAPPY DAY!

Some of you asked about the pattern. It is "Walk About" by Grizzly Gulch Gallery.....although.....If you are good doing things on your own, I'm not sure a pattern is actually needed. (I am not always.) It was just HST's sewn together into large four patchs then alternated with large plain blocks.

And I am loving a pieced back. The last few I did, I pieced the back, and think I will do more often. I pieced the back of my Black, White & Red to save fabric. This one I did so I could use the last bit I had of the large print.
